The Tuesday walking group, partly linked to the SAT of Mendrisio and the Federale di Ginnastica of Stabio, sometimes complements its outings with visits to significant places in the Mendrisiotto region. On 7 November 2023, it visited Giovanni Vassalli, a key figure in Riva San Vitale, passionate about bicycles, bricks and, more broadly, the history of his village.
