Always passionate about what are referred to as the “minor arts,” she sees the transformation of everyday objects as a way to create unique pieces that connect past and present. Her work aims to reinterpret traditional forms and styles using contemporary techniques, initially inspired by Eastern art and later by European art from the 16th to the 18th century.
Today she creates works that blend tradition and modernity, each with its own identity. She works and teaches in her studio at Spazio Polus in Balerna, Via Corti 5.
