Deeply rooted in the territory and its history, the Foundation launches a new cultural path that combines exhibition and education, with the aim of promoting ceramics as a living and shared art form.
The exhibition, hosted in the spaces of the Fornaci and open to the public from 21 November to 7 December 2025, brings together regional artists working in the field of ceramics, offering a collective overview of the variety of languages, techniques and sensibilities that animate this ancient art today.
Each artist presents a selected work as an expression of their research, in dialogue with the history of the place: Riva San Vitale was once an important production centre for roof tiles and bricks, thanks to its rich local clay deposits and the possibility of transporting materials via river and lake.

This exhibition offers an opportunity to discover and explore the art of ceramics, its techniques and styles. But not only that: it is also a preview of the courses that will begin in January 2026. Some of the exhibiting ceramists will in fact become future instructors, offering the public the chance to approach the courses best suited to their curiosity and passions.
The opening will take place on Friday 21 November at 6:00 pm, in the presence of the curators Patrizia Cattaneo Moresi and Simona Bellini, as well as the participating artists. The exhibition is supported by the Municipality of Riva San Vitale.
