A creative workshop where children can have fun discovering the sgraffito technique on stoneware: a highly original way to decorate ceramics by carving into a layer of color to reveal drawings, shapes, and personal patterns. The course is divided into two sessions. In the first, each participant will shape their own stoneware tile and design a unique motif, exploring what they want to create using techniques such as clay masking and sgraffito. In the second session comes the most magical part: colored engobe is applied, quickly dried with a hairdryer, and then the surface is incised to reveal the design—just like a little artist!
